Repeat Prescription Changes during Covid 19

 

    • Please request your repeat medication via email to whccg.forestsidemedicalpractice@nhs.net or pop your written request in through the letter box, do not come into the surgery where possible.

    • If you have an URGENT request and do not have access to the internet, please call the surgery on 02380 844546 and we will try to assist you or you can contact your local chemist.

    • We can only issue you with your normal repeat medication supply; extra medication cannot be issued unless you GP feels it is necessary.

    • High Risk patients who routinely have Emergency Rescue Med’s Packs can still obtain them in the normal way.

    • Some medications are in short supply or have already run out. This is because people have been over ordering across the country. Please be assured that our clinical pharmacist along with your GP will work together to find an alternative medication to meet your needs should things be out of stock.

    • Please allow up to 5 working days to process your medication; this is due to the increased demands placed on the practice and your local chemist.

  • Please be Kind to our staff. They are working extremely hard to support 12,000 patients under very difficult times.
